Hi and welcome to Western Australia. My name is Marilyn Kench and I am the Defence Special Needs Support Group Coordinator. In WA we have support groups in the following areas:
- Perth
- Rockingham
- Bullsbrook
If you are posted into this lovely State or are already living here, then we would love to hear from you. You can either contact Marilyn or our Assistant Coordinator Melanie Graham. For more information about the WA Area, have a look at the handy "Welcome to Western Australia" booklet complied by DCO.
We have lots of events, workshops, family days, outings and other social events happening, so have a look below to see what we have planned or email perth@dsnsg.org.au

Fabulous Family Outings - Perth
DSNSG Christmas Party - 11th December @ 10.30am at Adventure World - FREE EVENT
The Defence Special Needs Support Group Perth Christmas Party will be held at Adventure World on Sunday 11th December start at 10.30am (please be there at 10am). This is a FREE Event for all DSNSG families and we will even throw in an icy pole and a drink voucher.
Please BYO food - remember this is a picnic (no commercial type food is allowed ie McDonalds, Kentucky Fried etc). Let us know if you are coming along by contacting your local DSNSG Coordinator Marilyn Kench on 0429 928 545.

We will need to know the number of adults and children and the ages of the children. If there are sufficient numbers coming from the Rockingham or Pearce areas, we will organise a bus at no cost.
Mary Poppins - Sunday 20th May, 6.30pm - $55 per ticket

The Defence Special Needs Support Group has a number of tickets at a special price for you and your family to come along and see Mary Poppins in Perth.
Tickets are normally $115 but for members of the Defence Special Needs Support Group, they are only $55 each. Yes $55 per person, so ring the National Office on 1800 37 674 to book your seats or send your request through via email with the subject heading 'Mary Poppins' to national.coordinator@dsnsg.org.au
To secure your tickets at this very special price, you will need to book and pay by the end of February 2012.
