Welcome to the Frankston/Mornington Area
Hi and welcome. Our area covers families living in the HMAS CERBERUS and surrounding Mornington Peninsula areas, Frankston and the south-east region of metropolitan Melbourne.
Frankston is 40 kilometres south of Melbourne via the Nepean Highway. It is located on the southern most edge of the Greater Melbourne metropolitan area and is referred to as the "Gateway to the Mornington Peninsula". A further 30 minutes down the road and you will find HMAS CERBERUS, the Navy's premier training establishment.
Families with special needs posting into this area need to be aware that where they are housed may affect the type of services and support they require with certain locations being in the Mornington Peninsula Shire region and other locations in the Frankston region.
