Hi and welcome to our region!  My name is Margaret Maher and I am your local ACT Defence Special Needs Coordinator.

Canberra is home to many Defence establishments including the Defence offices located at Russell and Campbell Park. Other major Defence locations are the Australian Defence College at Weston Creek, the Royal Military College Duntroon, the Australian Defence Force Academy, HMAS Harman, Defence Establishment Fairbairn and in NSW, Headquarters Joint Operations Command at Bungendore.

Our group covers families living across the Canberra region and families living in the surrounding areas of NSW.

We hold regular coffee mornings, theatre events, social activities and family day. By linking in to us, you have access to the wider support, information and assistance that is available throughout our network.  For more information about the ACT region, have a look at the handy 'Welcome to Canberra' booklet compiled by DCO.

If you have a great location or event you feel would make a good DSNSG activity, contact us at canberra.south@dsnsg.org.au or through the National Coordinator.

Please give me a call on 02 6255 8576 or email me to find out what else we are doing and to go on our mailing list.
