Every year DSNSG Coordinators descend on Canberra for the annual Coordinators' Conference. 

The focus this year was on Information, Technology and Support and looking at the ways in which families with special needs and our coordinators can be better supported and assisted by Defence and by our group.  Coordinators participated in many workshops and had discussions with senior Defence personnel. 

Once again, the highlight of the conference was the dinner held at Old Parliament House where we announced that joining Chief of Defence Force, ACM Angus Houston as National Co-Patron was Minister Alan Griffin MP. 

We thank both Minister Griffin and ACM Houston for their continued support of our group and special needs families.

At the conference dinner, Jon Linehan, CEO Defcredit presented the Defence Special Needs Support Group with a donation to support and continue to expand the group's many programs including 'Connecting Families' and the 'For Your Information' (FYI) workshops.  The ongoing support  and tireless efforts by Defcredit staff across Australia is greatly appreciated.
