Dig Deep for a Dollar 2007

Dig Deep for a Dollar Day is the national fundraiser for the Defence Special Needs Support Group, the only Australian charity that provides support, information and assistance to ADF families who have a child or adult with special needs.
The DSNSG asks as many people as possible to undertake Dig Deep collections on their ship, at the base or in their section or to support the many "Dig Deep" activities held during the year by DEFCREDIT.
All monies raised from Dig Deep for a Dollar Day go directly into National and local projects that support and assist families, in particular assisting towards our National 1800 Support and Information Line.

2006 Silver Spade Award
The Silver Spade Award is presented annually to the area that has undertaken the most innovative or enterprising way of "Digging Deep".
The 2006 Silver Spade Award was won by HMAS STUART. Congratulations to all personnel for not only raising a fantastic amount but for having lots of fun whilst supporting families with special needs.
