Childcare Reimbursement Allowance
Childcare Reimbursement Allowance is to assist with the cost of providing child care when a member has been granted a removal at public expense and only the member or one adult dependant is able to be present during the removal because of family, Service or medical reasons.
Including in this Allowance is specific provisions for a disabled child that requires a higher degree of supervision because of particular disabilities. It also includes provisions for where the spouse or other adult dependant is unable to assist with the removal due to a medical condition.
